Meet the Longmores

Jackie A. Longmore

Jackie Longmore is a dynamic and compassionate leader whose life embodies faith, service, and resilience. Born in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, and raised with humble roots, she has grown into a multifaceted woman of purpose—an ordained minister, licensed cosmetologist, accomplished hair stylist, singer, and humanitarian. Her passion for helping others is grounded in her deep faith and joyful spirit, which she brings into every aspect of her life, from her church leadership to her travels that inspired greater outreach.

In 2023, alongside her husband, Jackie co-founded the D&J Longmore Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting underserved communities in Africa, Jamaica, and the United States. The foundation focuses on food assistance, education, and sustainable, faith-based outreach initiatives that promote empowerment and long-term development. As a loving mother and spiritual guide, Jackie continues to lead by example—transforming lives through grace, generosity, and a heart full of compassion.

Donovan R. Longmore

Donovan Longmore is a seasoned entrepreneur, media personality, and humanitarian with over 37 years of leadership experience across marketing, entertainment, finance, and healthcare. Born in Montego Bay, Jamaica, and now based in the U.S., he has remained deeply committed to uplifting the Caribbean Diaspora and underserved communities around the world. From his early days as a radio personality addressing the lack of Caribbean music on U.S. airwaves, Donovan has built a remarkable career promoting culture, advocacy, and empowerment. He currently serves in influential roles such as the Northeast U.S. Representative for the Global Jamaica Diaspora Council, VP of Marketing for Jamaica’s Community Tourism, and Chairperson of PLOG, supporting underprivileged youth in Ghana. His many accolades include multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards and the prestigious 2023 U.S. Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award.

In addition to being the host of Reggae Voyage and Long Talks, Donovan is the founder of Earth Angel Productions and CEO of Reggae.University, platforms that celebrate Caribbean culture through music, media, and education. Alongside his wife, Jackie Longmore, he co-founded the D&J Longmore Foundation, a nonprofit committed to transforming lives in Jamaica, Africa, and the U.S. through community development, education, and faith-based outreach. A devoted husband, father, mentor, and Peace Ambassador through the United Nations, Donovan continues to dedicate his life to creating a better world—one voice, one act of service, and one community at a time.
